Industries forum surpasses all expectations

With the premiere of the "German super yacht Conference" the magazine of boats offered exclusive a great forum on German soil from the Delius Klasing Verlag of the international mega yacht scene on Thursday for the first time yesterday. Six internationally recognized experts contributed to the hotel Le Royal Méridien Hamburg about design, new yacht concepts, piracy, markets developments and modern marketing


Bielefeld/Hamburg, February 24 2012. "We are very pleased with the premiere event," says Marcus Krall, editor in Chief of mega yachts boats EXCLUSIV and initiator of the first "German super yacht Conference". The new industry forum for the mega yachts scene was booked out with 100 participants. "We wanted to offer the industry a new way for exchanging active away from the usual hustle and bustle of trade fair", Marcus Krall explains the intention of the event. "I am also convinced that every visitor is taking many new suggestions and ideas to this day for his personal business of the day home", so Krall next.


Over 90 percent of the participants are active in the mega yacht industry (shipyards, yacht interiors, technology accessories, insurance) directly or immediately. Most of the guests came from the German-speaking area. Also from England, France, Austria and the Netherlands are delegates to the first "German super yacht Conference" traveled to England to attend the lectures and to exchange ideas with colleagues and new contacts.


To kick off, Timothy Jacobs, Jensen, Jacob Jensen design from Denmark gave his multi media presentation on the topic "Design processes". He pointed out here on the design of products of any kind approach, and was entered into on a mega yacht project of his company. Equally exciting Felix Dölker reported a yacht Interior expert Dölker & Voges from his daily work environment. He spoke about the net space planning for yachts and the problems of designs and floor plans. His Office acts as an interface between shipyard, designer and interior design.


Christian Bolinger of the Dutch shipyard Acico spoke about the construction of a yacht brand. Here he impressively convey his own experiences and ideas as a young CEO and reveal interesting marketing approaches. The security professional Simon Barlow from the British company special projects and services spoke on the subject of yacht piracy and the growing threat to the worlds oceans. He told this from his personal experiences in the fight against pirates and demonstrated how owners and crew members can protect themselves by modern defence management and commercially.


With Ed Dubois, founder and head designer of Dubois naval architects from England, one of the leading sailing yacht designers of the world on the podium appeared. His presentation included less but his current projects as a designer, he instead focused on security at major Yachting regattas. As founder of the "super yacht racing association" he is an acknowledged expert in this area. The initiators of Jochen Krewitt could win sixth speakers. The worlds oceans are home to the experienced captain and super yacht engineer. He spoke about the intensive preparation and planning a trip around the world with a mega yacht.


Was assisted in the "German super yacht Conference" from the boot Düsseldorf, the worlds largest water sports fair and Pantaenius, a specialist in yacht insurance. Due to the positive response of the participants a Fort setting of the event could announce at the end of the day already boats exclusive editor-in-Chief Marcus Krall in the coming year.
